Anyone involved in a collision must stop and assist anyone who is injured. Call 000 in an emergency - where there is danger or serious injury. Or telephone 131 444 if police assistance is required.
Exchange information (name, phone numbers, address, car registration number) with other drivers or the owner of any property damaged.
Collisions which must be reported to police by law if there is any property destroyed or damaged, except if the only property destroyed is owned by the driver or damage is estimated at less than $3000.
If police did not attend at the scene of a reportable collision, you must report the crash to police by attending at a police station within 24 hours, within 90m minutes if someone is injured.

January 23: staff at a shop in Commercial St Kingscote realised that a laptop on display had been stolen by an unknown person. The laptop is valued at $500.
