October 19: A Parndana man, 36, was reported for cultivating nine cannabis plants, possessing 1.4 kg of dry cannabis and pipes, having an insecure firearm, an imitation firearm and insecure ammunition. The man will appear in court.
October 23: A Kingscote woman was reported for misuse of motor vehicle and for driving while under the influence of alcohol with an alcohol reading of .093% on Dauncey St, Kingscote. She was issued with an immediate loss of licence for six months and her motor vehicle impounded for seven days.
October 24: A traffic infringement notice was issued to a 21 y.o. Kingscote male for breaching his ‘P’ conditions required of his licence while driving on Playford Hwy, Kingscote.
October 25: Police and CFS attended a grass fire at the Bay of Shoals off Bellmore Rd. About 12 acres of hay was burnt. The owner accidentally started the fire while mowing dry grass.
October 26: A Kingscote woman was reversing out of a park in Kingscote when another driver was pulling into the park next to her and a collision occurred. About $2000 damage was sustained.
October 28: A Parndana man, 66, reported a theft of his firearms that were stolen between January 1, 2008 and September 30, 2009 from within the premises. 2 x 303 rifles and 2 x 22 rifles.
October 30: A Kingscote youth, 17, was reported for misuse of his motor vehicle in doing a sustained wheel spin on Ocean View Dr at Western Cove. His vehicle will be impounded.
October 31: A Murray Bridge woman was issued with a traffic infringement notice for driving 120kmh in a 100kmh zone on Playford Hwy, Cygnet River.
A traffic infringement notice was issued to an Ingle Farm man for using fog lights when not permitted on the Playford Hwy, Cygnet River.
A Hanson Bay man was issued with a traffic infringement notice for failing to dip his headlights while driving on Birchmore Rd, Cygnet River.
November 1: A Kingscote man, 21, was reported after colliding with a road sign at Baudin Beach as a result of driving without due care along Hog Bay Rd.
Police reported a Parndana man, 48, for driving while under the influence of alcohol. It was recorded that .195% of alcohol was in his blood. He was issued with an immediate loss of licence for 12 months.
