Sun shines on Show

05 Nov, 2009 04:15 PM
Beautiful sunny weather saw a good crowd enjoy this year’s Kingscote Show. Vickie Chapman arrived to officially open the Show in D4Drive’s Limousine The Silver Lady, which led the Grand Parade.

The main entertainment of the day “The Xtreme Trials Show” performed by Adrian Harry proved a hit with many enjoying his stunt riding; each performance had a large crowd.

The Pavilion was a credit to all the exhibitors with lots of lovely entries providing plenty of colour, with some beautiful flowers as you entered, quilts along the back, with record entries of art and photos to see along with all the other wonderful exhibits.

Congratulations to all the prize winners and all those who exhibited.

There was a great atmosphere on the hill and on the oval with stall holders having a good day.

The Cha Cha whizzing around kept busy as usual and the Bungee putting many to the test.

David George did a wonderful job on the microphone, keeping everyone informed of all happenings around the show ground, we appreciated Dave doing this for us.

The CFS Fat Fire display had many interested onlookers.

Once again the footy clubrooms were packed for a great family fashion show by Island Style.

Thank you to all sponsors and volunteers.
