Dudley United 43 d Kingscote 41
Both teams starting strongly being goal for goal with Dudley picking up towards the end of the quarter to be two goals up. Game continued to be fairly even with defence ends putting pressure on goalies with score at end of quarter being 20-all. Wind picking up this quarter making it hard for goalies to shoot but by the end of the quarter Dudley just had the edge by five goals. Jasmin playing well for Kingscote with Kimberley and Andrea playing well for Dudley. Good quarter by Kingscote making it hard for Dudley but Dudley coming through in the end to win by two goals.
Early lead seals it

WD started well in the forth quarter with Julie Boyle and Anne Marie getting a few early goals in. Tania of WD played well in Centre and did well feeding into the ring. Karen WD came back on as GD in the fourth quarter, did well defending Emma (GA) of DU. Julie Boyle (GA) was injured half way through fourth quarter, Tessa WD came back into goals, shooting well after second quarter in Wing Defence, holding up WD attack. WD played a consistent game trailing by 10 goals most of the game. Dudley’s Emma and Jan just too tall, accurate and strong for WD defence.
