HOUNDS 19 d DUDLEY 18

Off to a great start in a lovely cool evening in Kingscote.

Dudley started the bat with only seven players and Hounds short with eight.

Very evenly matched the whole game. Dudley a bit sloppy with over throws in the second innings allowing Hounds to get runners home.

Catcher Caroline making it difficult for Dudley to steal as she stopped everything Amber could pitch.

Jade doing a fantastic job as pitcher, Shai as catcher for Dudley, Julie covering 3rd and shortstop throwing to Ricky-Lee on first.

Jack floating in Diamond and Out fielders Sam and Libby struggling when hounds Sue Bowd and Jody found the gap. Good fun game! Thank you Umpire and scorers

WISANGER 18 d ALL B’S 8

All B’s starting game with only seven players, were soundly beaten by the young Wisanger side.

All B’s did not score in the first 2 innings, Wisanger scoring three in each.

All B’s started to get bat to ball with Ali Lomman having a three base hit and a home run.

Heather Schultze batted well and good pitching by Maria.

Thanks to Damien for Umpiring

End of second round we will have a much better idea of the winners’ ladder.
