Masters take the north

15 Oct, 2009 03:47 PM
KI was well represented in this years National Masters Football Carnival in Cairns. The boys all played in the Over 35’s division who left their best game to last and defeated the previously unbeaten Northern Territory side by six goals for their only win. Jamie Boyle and Darren Morris also played in the Over 40s division and ended up winning their division. Heath Gurney won the drop kick competition with a great kick of 61.5m.

The weather was fantastic for swimming but not so good for playing football. A great time was had by all.
