Wisanger 57 d Kingscote 29

Cool but perfect conditions for netball. Wisanger strong in defence and too tall in the goal circle. An improvement by Kingscote in the second quarter. Teigan played well all game taking many intercepts. Alix and Amy (K) very supportive the whole game, providing great leadership. Wisanger used their height down the court making it hard for Kingscote to pass. The last quarter was more even but Wisanger’s first three quarters were too good. Thank you to both umpires

Parndana 59 d

Wisanger2 24

A fine day greeted both teams as they faced each other for the second time this season. Parndana off to a quick start on the scorecard to be 10 goals up at the first break. Wisanger came out in the second quarter determined to settle the play. However Parndana took the game by the neck and tightened their hold. Errors through the passing and leading of Wisanger told on the scorecard.

Parndana well up at half time. Wisanger rallied in the second half but Parndana too strong on the day. Wisanger never game up and kept trying. Goalies for Parndana Cori Kelly and Millie Speed, too accurate and strong for Rachel Thomas and Nat Iasanzaniro, both Wisanger defences trying everything all game. Michaela Wait top effort for Wisanger. Chelsea Bond well done for Parndana. Well played all girls.

Kingscote 45 d Wisanger1 10

Perfect playing conditions at Wisanger. Play even in first quarter. Tight defence at both ends with turnovers for both teams- Kingscote capitalising a bit better than Wisanger to be up 6-3 at quarter time.

Kingscote made positional changes but lost no momentum. Wisanger fighting hard in defence to foil many Kingscote attempts. Court play still very even but K still ahead 12-7 at half time. More changes by both teams for third quarter. Kingscote attacking end working well together whilst Wisanger finding it harder to convert. W fighting hard but being outplayed this quarter to trail by 18 at three quarter time. Wisanger making changes again this quarter trying hard to get back in the game but Kingscote still dominating with very few weaknesses on court. Wisanger girls under pressure and making some basic mistakes. K too strong overall, winning by 35.

Dudley 41 d

Western Districts 12

Dudley played well from the first whistle. WD defence in goal was excellent, however Dudley’s height over the entire court proved hard for WD to defend.

Western Districts came back slightly in the second quarter but D proved too strong. WE found it hard to get the ball to their goal circle.

Dudley played consistently well to win convincingly and out-played WD overall. Congratulations to the WD defenders for a consistent effort and to the youngsters who helped the team. A good fourth quarter by WD after a few position changes.

Parndana 30 d Kingscote 6

Parndana got off to a strong start. Emma Watters took some good interceptions which were capitalised on with good attack moves by Parndana and accurate shooting. Parndana continued to play well. Amy Dodgson and Kasey Edwards worked hard in defence for Kingscote. Jamie Barnes lead well for P and shot some nice goals. Parndana made many positional changes and continued to dominate to have a good win.

Western Districts 24 d

Dudley United 22

A good game to watch with both sides playing well. Western Districts starting off strongly and moving the ball down the court well. Bridget Benney playing a great game in defence for Western Districts taking lots of intercepts.

The second half saw Dudley make some position changes. A fantastic last quarter by both sides with all players trying hard on close game in the end with WD only winning by 2.

Netta

Wisanger v Kingscote2

A Wednesday night game and pleasant weather. All girls have developed their skills and the game generally flowed well. Mahoney and Scarlett defended well for Kingscote and opened up space. Wisanger passed down the court well aided by good leads by Rachael, Natasha and Kiri. Thank you to Ashli and Portia for showing good sportsmanship and playing for the other team.

Western Districts v Dudley

Very even first quarter with Mia Helya and Ella Sparks playing well in defence for Dudley. Bridget Benney and Zoe Morris playing well in defence for Western Districts. Alice Robinson and Tanner Morris had a good contest for the ball through centre. Ava Martain played well at GA along with Abi Willson in GS for Dudley. Some great defence work by Sarah Weatherspooon for Western

Districts. Holly Muecke and Bridgette Laundy having a great game with great leading and great defence work from both players. Lauren Downing and Chloe Ryan shooting some beautiful goals for Westies. Jessica Row taking some beautiful intercepts in defence for Dudley and Eilidh Macphee also playing well for Dudley. A great game to watch..
