Wisanger 28 def Hounds 7 - Hounds had a home game at Kingscote where Wisanger came to take them on. Wisanger were first up to bat and blazed an awesome 10 runs home. Hounds were then up to bat but Wisanger held them scoreless. Great fielding at 3rd by Corey and solid work on 1st by Rachel. Wisanger then managed 7 over the plate – Hounds Sue at short stop, Shayne at catcher and Caroline at first doing some good work. Hounds could only answer with 2 over the plate. Wisanger continued well with the bat with some great hits by Carol, Rachel, Tanya and Josh. Great fielding by Hounds stopped any home runs for Wisanger. Also, there was an awesome stunt roll on 1st by Brenda! Thanks for umpiring Merv, and Sue and Megan for scoring.

Dudley 13 def Parndana 11 - What a nail biter! Dudley with only 8 and new pitcher catcher team (Helyar girls), 1st round was just like cricket with 3 up 3 down for Dudley. Excellent team work with Ty at shortstop and Sam 1st base. Dudley’s 1st batting against wicked Janine was a challenge but managed to score 5 runs. Dudley fielded very tightly. Parndana also scored well in 2nd round. Very quick rounds with good fielding on both sides. Even with many interruptions in Parndana’s fielding to give them all a shot, Dudley strived on in determination to do lovely fielding with 3 out from 1 hit. Well done Ty and Shai. Ty was on fire.
