Kangaroo Island Lions Club serve the community in many ways. Lately, at the request of Friends and Relatives of Anchusa Residents group, they upgraded a room at the Anchusa Aged Care Unit at KI Hospital

There are dedicated Friends and Relatives groups at KI hospital, and together with an active KI Lions Club who generously support the community, there are some great outcomes for KI residents needing health care.

One room at the Aged Care unit at KI hospital, Anchusa, badly needed an upgrade. The Friends and Relatives of Anchusa Residents group approached the KI Lions Club who were happy to fund the upgrade.

Nurse Unit Manager Kathy Bald said, “We are so lucky to have the KI Lions Club. Recently they funded a morgue upgrade and now they have funded this upgrade with excellent outcomes for our patients.”

KI Lions president John McEvoy said, “Lions are here to serve the community. We are pleased that the changes have been completed and that we were able to assist.”
