KI is full to bursting with talented, obedient, photogenic working dogs, and now’s their chance to shine!
Australian pipe fittings manufacturer Philmac is starting a nationwide talent search for the most impressive working dogs and is calling on all Blue Heelers to put up their paws to be the new face of its brand ambassador Bluey, with the popular pooch announcing his retirement.
“We’re looking for the next Bluey – a dog that represents our brand values of trust, reliability and hardwork,” Philmac Managing Director Mark Nykiel said.
“The job involves just three days of photography and includes a year’s supply of dog food and gift vouchers totalling more than $4000 in value. Ideally, the next Bluey will be well trained, able to follow instructions and photographer friendly!”
Also, Philmac is casting a wider net for working dogs of any breed to feature in its 2018 Philmac Australian Working Dog Calendar.
“To be considered for the calendar we’re asking for owners to submit their best pictures of their working dog at either work, rest or play,” Mr Nykiel said. “We’re hoping to hear from regional and farm dogs of a variety of breeds.”
Nominations close on October 1 for both the Bluey ambassador and the Working Dog Calendar.
