Buzzin': Angus Bucany brought his prize-winning honeys into The Islander office.

In the recent 58th Parndana Show, Angus Bucany took out many prizes for his honey.

He won Best Honey Exhibit for his Creamed Honey, First Prize for his Dark Amber Honey, First Prize for his Honey Novelty Confection and a Third Prize for his Candied Honey.

The Parndana Show results in last week’s Islander omitted Angus’ wins, so we are more than happy to include them this week.

Angus’ delicious honeys can be found at the Kingscote Farmers Market.

Limestone Imaging

Concerned residents spoke to The Islander last week about a rumour they had heard that Limestone Imaging who provide services to Kingscote Hospital, had had their funding cut and would no longer be able to service KI next year.

The Islander is happy to report that there is no truth to this rumour.

A spokesperson from SA Health contacted The Islander to state that there is no cut to Limestone Imaging’s funding and they will be carrying on their essential services to the KI community as normal.
