Cath Cantlon and Catherine Murphy are happy to announce they were married on Sunday morning January 21 by local celebrant, Vicki McLean.

The ceremony was witnessed by close friends and family, in the garden of their Emu Bay home.

They decided to legalise their 37 year relationship when the Marriage Equality Bill was passed late last year in the Australian Parliament. 

Malcolm and Lucy (nee Eichner) Boxall 

Malcolm and Lucy (nee Eichner) Boxall celebrated their marriage on December 30 in the Kingscote Uniting Church and then with a lovely reception in the KI Yacht Club with family and friends.

They will honeymoon by cruising around Tasmania in February.

Baby Brianna Christine Freebairn

Kevin Freebairn and Hayley Florance are pleased to announce the safe arrival of Brianna Christine Freebairn born January 18 2018.

“We would like to thank friends, family and all the staff for the outstanding care we received at the Kangaroo Island Hospital.”
