Kangaroo Island Community Education’s (KICE) Year 12 class of 2017 concluded the year with great success, with 100 percent SACE completion.
Matilda Southgate was the dux for 2018 with an ATAR score of 99.95. Thirty-three percent of KICE students secured ATARs in the high 90s and 50pc in the 80s.
Every student who aimed to enter university secured their preferences.
This year, students from KICE studying Occupational Therapy, Advanced Science, Music Teaching, Business and Creative Arts.
There are also many students who will continue their study and apprenticeship pathways in Vocational and Educaitional Training (VET) such as building, tourism, hospitality and automotive.
The students commenced their studies and apprenticeships through VET programs at KICE and have now transitioned to full-time work.
