Toe tapping fun at Parndana Hall

Roger and Leslie gliding along.

Do you remember dances at Karatta, Gosse, Birchmore and Parndana? Did you change partners in the barn dance or military two, hoping to end up in the arms of that special someone?

If that's the case, then waltz down memory lane  on Saturday, April 28 at the Parndana Hall from 8pm on wards.

Peter Habel will follow his father and MC the evening, Joyce West and Suzanne Bourke will take a turn belting out the beat on the piano and Scott Ellson will provide the main music on the keyboard.

The local Old Style Dance group have been practicing their steps led by Roger and Leslie and have even brushed up a dance called “The Parndana” invented by Rita Bowden.

All ages are welcome to attend – babies may sleep behind the piano or under the chairs.

It will be a good chance to have all ages having fun together listening to the old music and songs. The dance group will demonstrate the steps and most are very easy to follow.

Please bring a plate of supper to share. Entry is by gold coin donation.
