A Grade – Wisanger vs Western Districts

A great game played by both teams. The first quarter was a close contested match with goal for foal both ends. Wisanger had many turn overs and threw it away many times with hurried play but ended up on top by 4 at quarter time.

Western Districts shot very well with hardly a goal missed. Although Western Districts defence was very tight, Wisanger continued to stretch their lead at each change and finished winning the game by 9.

Final Score – Wisanger 48, Western Districts 39

B Grade – Wisanger vs Western Districts

First quarter was very close, Kristy and Amy playing well in goals for Wisanger. Carmen and Kiri doing well for Western districts. Score Wisanger 14, Western Districts 9.

Second quarter: Amy for Wisanger shooting lovely goals, Mel Holman defending well. Western Districts girls defending well all the way down the court. Score Wisanger 23, Western Districts 20.

Third quarter: Western Districts caught up and it was even at 25. Wisanger picked up towards the end of the quarter and score was Wisanger 37, Western Districts 29 at three quarter time.

Great last quarter by Wisanger. Great game played in good spirit. Fantastic umpiring by Jane and Marie.

C Grade – Wisanger vs Western Districts

Western Districts came out swinging ending the first quarter with a strong lead. Wisanger kept the pressure up in the second quarter keeping Western Districts goals to a minimum. Wisanger fought back in the third quarter scoring more goals and closing the gap between the two teams. Wisanger kept the ball rolling at the start of the fourth quarter surprising Western Districts. Wisanger got within one coal of Western Districts. With a tight defence, Western Districts managed to pull ahead for the win.

Final Score – Western Districts 35, Wisanger 31

D Grade

Warm and Sunny for the game between Wisanger and Parndana. Parndana off to a fast start on the scoreboard and with a good lead before Wisanger scored. Wisanger struggled against Parndana in mid court. Parndana well in control by half time both on the scorecard and with passing. A better second half by Wisanger creating a few good runs to get 3 in a row. Good shooting by Parndana goalies and tight defence made it hard for Wisanger goalies. All contributed well by both teams.

Final Score Parndana 45,s Wisanger 12

15 and under – Wisanger vs Western Districts

Quick start, very competitive first quarter. Very even scoring. Western Districts up by 2 goals at quarter time.

Western Districts came back strongly after half time to win by 10 goals. A great match.

Final Score – Western Districts 42, Wisanger 32

11 and under – Wisanger vs Western Districts

A lovely day for netball with eager players ready for the match early. Wisanger’s height helped them move the ball forward and accurate shooting by Tahlia Florance and Matilda Kauppila saw them with the lead at quarter time.

Changes at the break allowed Western Districts to move the ball into their attack line. Rose Kemp (Western Districts) made some strong leads to help her team. 

The third quarter was more equal with some good match ups on court. Liam Ness (Wisanger) partnered well with Tahlia Florance and Belle Morris (Western Districts) applied pressure.

The last quarter was back and forth with both teams fighting to the end.

Net Set Go – Wisanger vs Western Districts

Great weather for Net Set Go made for lots of smiles and happy netballers.

First game for Nirvana at GK saw her busy with throw ins, feeding back through the centre to Olivia, Kirra and Grace.

Good work by Wisanger attackers Katie and Lily with support from Jemima on the ring. Excellent defending by Western District’s Magellan and first time player Asha.

Western Districts were strong through the centre, great intercepting and passes from Mania to Arliah at WA saw Western Districts have some good shots at goal.

Emily at GK did some good rebounding and back line throw ins to Lucy with support from Kaeley. An even game with all players trying to find space for leads and passing well.

Kingscote versus Dudley United reports

A Grade

Very fast play by both sides with good shooting by Dudley’s Emma and Tash.B

Defences for Kingscote Bridget and Ashleigh working hard.

Both centres Tash W and Ruby having a very good tussle. Dudley running out winners by 17 in the end.


A very even game the whole four quarters, it could've gone either way.

Dudley shooting some lovely goals in the second quarter to come out in front at half time.

Kingscote having a wonderful third quarter to bring the game back equal, going into the final quarter.

Last quarter was very tight, seeing both teams working hard. Kingscote managed to win by the closest of margins, 1 goal. Well done to all girls, it was a great game.
