A 19-year-old man from Kingscote was issued an on-the-spot fine for drink driving and a breach of provisional licence conditions after he allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.052 when stopped on the Playford Highway, Parndana on Kangaroo Island at 1.30am on Saturday.

If you are a learner, provisional or probationary licence holder you must stick to a zero Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) - this means no alcohol at all.
