A Grade – Parndana vs Wisanger
In rather cold and wintery weather were the most skillful teams are tested, Parndana took on Wisanger at home.
Both teams found scoring didn't come easy as their respective defenders scrapped for every loose ball and every wayward pass.
Wisanger's goal shooter Renae Florance was replaced by Amy Escabache after twisting her ankle in the slippery conditions.
Parndana used this opportunity to draw the game at half time being slightly down in that quarter.
Parndana made some positional changes and with a very strong defense took intercept after intercept but their golaers Cori Kelly & Fiona Stanton were unable to convert.
Though Parndana were up by three goals at the beginning of the last quarter they faced a very determined Panther side.
As the skills of both teams were at times frustrating to watch the game was highly contested with both teams wanting the two premiership points.

B grade – Parndana Red vs Wisanger
Steady start with both teams scoring steadily in misty rain. Parndana having slight lead of 3 goals by first break. Continuing into second quarter, consistent goals by both teams kept the score even, with defences working hard on every chance to rebound.
Centre court tussles great to watch. Third quarter saw Parndana step up their rebounding and centre court pressure taking their lead to 7 goals which they then kept til full time. Clean hands great flowing game to watch.
B Grade – Parndana White vs Dudley
An overcast day out at Parndana. Both teams were fairly even for the few minutes before Parndana took the lead. Shae and Sarah were a dynamo duel in goals, taking Parndana to a strong lead at half time.
Ava and Abby played consistently throughout the mid court, but unfortunately Dudley couldn’t capitalise. Dudley came out strong in the 3rd quarter with Shontae taking some great intercepts in GA, which resulted in goals.
Half way through the last quarter, Parndana were just too good, with Tarryn driving strong in the centre. Parndana winning 44-36.
C Grade – Parndana vs Wisanger
In very wet conditions, both teams started strongly and were able to score. As the first quarter progressed, Parndana took the lead.
Parndana’s goalies gave them the upper hand throughout the middle of the game. In the final quarter Wisanger came out with a fierce determination and nearly took the game, but Parndana held on to the win, finishing two goals ahead.

11 and Under – Parndana vs Wisanger
It was a grey, calm and cool morning at Parndana but the netball was vibrant. Wisanger and Parndana 11&u teams came together and played well.
Wisanger got off to a strong start with Liam and Lily T in centre and Indy, Tahlia & Zoe working hard in goals. Regan and Charlotte worked hard in defence to try and slow down the skillfull Wisanger goals.
Lily H, Taya, Grace H, Kelesha and Ava worked hard for their teams through the mid court with some strong passing and effective intercepts.
The rain set in the first quarter but it didn’t take the smile off the faces of the girls. They persisted with cold hands and a slippery ball. The rain eased in the third quarter and then set in again in the final quarter.
Layla and Sascha displayed great team work in goals for Parndana while under pressure from Gracie, Brooke, Matilda and Maddie in defence for Wisanger.
NetSet Go – Parndana vs Wisanger
All the girls tried very hard and there were lots of good passes. It was quite a tough round for Parndana.
A Grade – Kingscote had a strong first quarter. Wonks came out firing in the second taking a small lead at half time and continued this through to three quarter time. Kingscote made the most of turnovers in the final quarter and came back to only go down by 3 in the end.
B Grade – Cold and wet start to the game. The ball going up and down the court but Kingscote was converting more. Wonks working hard all game but Kingscote were too strong in the end.
C Grade – Kingscote started off well. Second and third quarters went well for wonks. Rain helped Kingscote and they came back to win by 4.
D Grade – Kingscote started well in the rain up by 2 at quarter time. Second quarter was much more wonk’s game going at by 2 at half time. Third quarter saw some great defence by Pauline Ward and Alana Hinton combined with good mid court support and accuracy in goal from Julie Horsfall and Tania Roads. Last quarter Kingscote stayed strong to win by 6 goals.
NSG – Both teams played really well and was a great game to watch. All girls tried really hard and have improved so much since the start of the season. Very close game resulting in a draw. Great to see all the hard work is paying off, well done!
