Ladies Day at the Parndana Golf Club on Tuesday, June 26 was “Pink Day”, held as a fundraising event for breast cancer research.

The weather was perfect for golf with a crisp, cool start but players from Parndana and Kingscote soon warmed up in the winter sunshine.

Players donned their pink outfits and played an 18-hole stableford competition.

Parndana’s captain Ann-Marie Clark organised a fun day with prizes for novelty events including a “short” long drive marked by pink balloons, most balls hit into the creek and most balls hitting trees.

All players enjoyed a delicious lunch at the end of play to finish off the day.

A total of $80 was forwarded to Breast Cancer Trials Fund.

The Parndana club thanks the Kingscote ladies who supplemented the numbers for this enjoyable day.
