AFL legend Dustin Fletcher visited Kangaroo Island to pass on his footy skills to local footy players, young and old.
U12 and Senior Colts players from Western Districts, Wisanger and Kingcote clubs attended a skills clinic at the Kingscote Oval on Tuesday, June 26.
The 400-game Essendon player was brought to the Island by the Queenscliffe Hotel and the Kingscote Football Club.
Dustin said that the kids’ skills in general were very good, they listened well, they were very competitive and had a good knowledge of AFL.
All the kids had Fletcher autographing their boots, jumper and bags, while there were plenty of photos with him afterwards.
The Colts training session was followed by a barbecue and then a Seniors training and finally a social sports night for all ages.
