Comfort: In addition to reclining, the seat and backrest adjusts automatically to all your body’s small movements.

No longer do you need to retire to the comfortable chair after dinner.

Stressless® by Norwegian brand Ekornes have created the world’s first reclining and tilting dining chair. In addition to reclining, the seat and backrest adjusts automatically to all your body’s small  movements.

The engineering of the chair helps raise the seat and ease the pressure on your lower thighs.

It is perfectly positioned when you lean back in the chair and angled forward when you lean in towards the table.

The rocking motion provides optimal support for the lumbar region.

Available in four cushion designs and two leg models: a curved leg of solid oak wood and a slanted Beech laminate with clean lines.

All models are available with a high or low backrest in leather and fabric options.

Select from white wash, oak, walnut and black wood stains.

The chairs match a new range of tables from Stressless® which includes the Madeira which has a rectangular shape, or the Toscana which features a slightly curved shape.

Each of the table tops can be combined with two different leg designs and the option of two different systems for extending the table.

Select between an integrated extension system which extends the table surface by 80 cm, or up to two extension leaves, each of 50 cm, which can be stored in the table when not in use.

The Stressless dining chairs start from $550. Details: stressless.com
