Kangaroo Island Hunt Club holds its Christmas ride

The Kangaroo Island Hunt Club combined its AGM with a Christmas ride this year creating a function that was both well attend and enjoyed by all.

The AGM was conducted by the retiring president Lyn Dohle. Neville Sugars is the now the new president and Sophie Paterson and Karen Hammat join existing members Carmen Joseph and Cherikee Berden as committee members.

David Rowsell was returned as treasurer and Annette Florence as hunt master

Ten riders then wandered up to the nearby Bay of Shoals winery for  a light lunch and a beverage, followed by a ride along the full length of the Bullock Track to the KI Brewery.

The riders and followers enjoyed a further brew or two before returning to camp for a barbecue tea.

The members would like to thank Bay of Shoals winery and the KI Brewery for their hospitality.

Hunting will commence again in the Autumn, spectators and riders are always welcome to join us. To find out more contact any of the committee members.
