Former Kangaroo Island resident Bridget Patterson has chalked up some impressive statistics in Women’s National Cricket League.
Patterson plays for the Statewide Super SA Scorpions.
She was the Scorpions’ top run scorer this season, batting in 262, fifth highest in WNCL.
Patterson had the club’s best batting average at 43.6
And she had the club’s two highest individual scores of 113 v ACT (third in WNCL) and 109 v WA (fourth in WNCL).
Patterson was also one of eight Scorpions players to play all six matches.
The 24-year-old KI sportswoman is a big-hitting opening batter and an outstanding fielder renowned for her high work-rate in the Scorpions squad.
Patterson was awarded the Scorpions’ Most Improved Player award in 2015-16 and has become an integral component of the batting line-up.
Taking the gloves for Kensington, Patterson has been honing her wicketkeeping skills to provide potential back-up ‘keeping assistance for the Scorpions.
