Sheree Geci will open her fabulous garden to raise funds for the Kangaroo Island Cancer Support Group.
The Open Garden is from 10am to 2pm on Sunday, April 7 at 3 Juniper Road, Brownlow.
Cost will be $8 per person and light refreshments will be available.
"When we moved onto the property in November 2000 is was a bare sheep paddock," Sheree said.
"The first job was to plant three rows of screening trees around the whole perimeter of the 2.5 acre block, which we originally watered by bucket and watering can.
"Over the years, the garden has developed and grown into a large formal garden around our house. We are also passionate about growing our own food which we do in a large fenced vegetable garden and orchard, complimented with chickens that give us manure for compost and of course fresh eggs.
"We get our ideas and inspiration from TV shows, magazines and visiting other gardens. Over the years it has definitely been a labour of love and the garden is always evolving and changing.
"Our garden shows if you have an idea you can make it a reality, we aren’t designers but we have the patience to make it happen. We look forward to welcoming you to our garden on April 7."
