Time running out to register for KI Council Supplementary Election

The Electoral Commission SA has informed the KI Council it is proceeding to a Supplementary Election to fill the two vacancies created by the recent resignations of clrs Sharon Kauppila and Larry Turner.

Applications to be registered on the Supplementary Voter's Roll closes 5pm Friday, March 29.

Anyone, even non Australian citizens, can register on the voter's roll, as well as people living off Island with property on the Island. 

To confirm whether you are eligible or already registered on the voter roll, contact council liaison officer Gerard Snowball or Jacinta Lasscock, voter roll officer, at the KI Council on 8553 4500.

Further information regarding the election timetable will be released by ECSA shortly.

The election is expected to be in about three months.
