On Sunday of the June long weekend, the Parndana Golf Club held its Men's Open event, kindly sponsored by Elders Pastoral and the Parndana Hotel.
Players enjoyed a catch up before heading off to play 18 holes in what could only be described as less than perfect golfing conditions; cold, cloudy and threatening rain.
The course was in excellent condition thanks to all the preparation work by club members.
By the last nine holes many players were searching for their wet weather gear and they played the last holes in very wet conditions.
Many were lamenting the fact that Saturday had been a perfect day.
Following the game, afternoon tea and a dissection of the days play was enjoyed in the clubhouse.
