Dudley match reports

A Grade: First goal of the game taken nearly 2 minutes to score. It was a fast, tough first quarter by both teams. Nat Cocks taking some strong rebounds in the Wisanger goal circle. Dudley out to a 7-goal lead early in the second quarter with Tash and Emma (DU) shooting at 100 per cent accuracy. Wisanger fighting back with strong court play through the centre from Bek and Olivia. 2nd half saw both teams make positional changes. Amy on into GD for W and Kristy Tannebring for DU into her first game at WA. DU defence Tam and Stacey capitalising on any loose balls coming down the court or missing goals.

C Grade: Tight game, good intercepts by Dudley in the first quarter. Tight defence by Kingscote. Dudley has had a few loose balls. All players playing well. Strong goal keeping by Iris (K) making it hard for Dudley to get into goals. Good intercepts by Amy Hinves (DU). Nice shooting by Juanita Warena (K). Fast last quarter Kingscote coming back strong. Nice shooting by Carlie (K). Strong centre playing by Wibke Tieman (DU).

D Grade: Sun shining at Dudley for a 3pm game. Kingscote missing a couple of key players started with centre pass. Wisanger played a strong game. Kali Turner played a great game, Joanna Turner played a strong game in GD. Wisanger stronger on the day sealed the win.

Parndana match reports

A Grade: Cool but sunny conditions, both teams came out strong and competitive, even scores at quarter time. Parndana making the most of their centre passes in the second quarter and stealing a couple of important turn overs. Parndana up at half time by 6. Great goal for goal shooting in defence at both ends Parndana kept up the momentum working well as a team, applying the pressure all the way down the court. Great game to watch. Parndana winning by 48 to Western Districts 30.

B Grade: The sun was still shining for a great day of netball. Both teams a little off their regular players. Western Districts having 2 players backing up for their second game of the day and credit to Parndana's Takeda McMulkin for putting her hand up to play her opposite position in goals. A consistent game back and forth. Western Districts too strong in the end to win by 9. Western Districts 48 to Parndana 39.

C Grade: A low scorning game with the ball going end to end without a score. Excellent defence by both sides. Parndana was just ahead until the last quarter but in the last few minutes WD gained the momentum and won by 2 goals. Excellent defense by Alana Nolan for Western Districts and great court play by Dani Bowden for Parndana. Western Districts 21 to 18

D Grade: Parndana came out strong wining the first quarter. Western Districts fought back in the second quarter to take the lead. Third and fourth quarters were tightly contested with Parndana having a strong defence. Great game by all players. Congratulations to Parndana for having their first win for the season.

15&Under: Magic Day for netball at Parndana. Western Districts started out strong in the first quarter with Tilly and Chloe Pitman too strong in goals. In the second quarter Alex Wheaton and Evie Hammatt fought hard in the center. Parndana's goal keeper, Sacsha Berlin consistently kept on her eye on the ball her eyes on the ball, however, Westies were just too strong. Once again Parndana kept her their heads high.

13&Under: A perfect day for the Western End to come together to play sport. Western Districts came out strong to a wounded Parndana side. Raemi Morris and Molly Watters dominated throughout the game. Western Districts were far too strong for Parndana. Credit to the Parndana girls for holding their heads high.

11&Under: Fairly even start for both teams. Western Districts too strong in attack and very accurate in goals. Charlotte Wheaton played well in defence for Parndana and Gisele Protheroe was excellent in attack. A broken arm in third quarter was a blow to Parndana who already had a number of fill ins. Western Districts just too strong, the game was played in great spirit, well done!

Netta: A beautiful sunny day for netball at Parndana. Parndana starting strong with Gwenyth in goals. Emily Buck was working really hard in defence and took some great intercepts. A change in goals for both ends at the second quarter saw some great shooting from Asha Whale. an even third quarter with neither team scoring a goal. Eva Robinson played most the game in the center in her first game for Parndana and showed some great skills. A great game by both teams. - Courtney Trethewey
