KI Juniors compete at Calisthenics State Championships

The Kangaroo Island Calisthenics Club's Junior group travelled off to Adelaide to compete in the 2019 CASA State Championships on Monday, August 19.

This year, there were 14 participants travelling, along with coach Kirby Fryar, Sienna Putland as junior coach, plus KICC committee members, who did all the hair, make up, costumes and food.

There were also plenty of parents and family members travelling along to watch the girls do what they had worked so hard for all year.

The Juniors received 3rd Place for their March, 4th Place for Club Swinging and 3rd Place for Exercises. An extremely awesome effort, considering they went up to a higher division this year.

A fantastic effort from all involved, especially for three participating being their first time away on the big stage. They held their nerves well and performed brilliantly.

Thank you to everyone involved, Calisthenics is a huge commitment, but very rewarding to watch all the hard work pay off.

A big thank you to all our sponsors, we really do appreciate your generosity.
