To celebrate our 60th show we are please to announce that we will have the thrilling dodgem cars at this year's show. Fun for the whole family we are sure this one will be a crowd pleaser, while a jumping castle will available for smaller children.
While rides are fun to enjoy, a show is so much more then that, so we have you covered with a wide range of entertainment to keep you busy from the time the gates open to the time everything is all packed up.
There will live music throughout the day from local talent with the retune of the KICE ensemble to the show and accompanied by the Kangaroo Island brass ensemble as well as music from concert pianist Oliva Baker. So sit back and rest you feet and enjoy the sweet sounds.
There will be many local trade sites as well as some mainland traders present so make sure to have a good walk around through our courtyard precinct and farm expo area. There will be lots of interesting things to see, do and eat. Things to look out for are locally produced foods, showbags, farm machinery and vehicles and so much more information for you.
Other things to entertain you or even take part in are, shearing competition, horses in action, young and junior farmers challenge, dog jumping, pet competition, BMX competition and new this year is the fathers racing competition on the BMX track so we encourage dads to bring the bikes along and join in the fun.
Plus there will be so much more to see and do with live demonstrations from our cooking judge and blacksmith display. You will find in this weeks islander a lift out program with everything you will need to know about what and when everything is going on.
