Over the weekend, Sally Beck coordinated Mount Gambier's Biggest Bake Sale, which saw a collaboration between 10 small business bakers at the Mount Gambier Farmers Markets.

Local businesses and individuals donated all our ingredients and packing for the sale and 100 per cent of the proceeds were donated from the day.

"The Mount Gambier community came out in their masses to support our cause on Saturday and we sold out of over 1000 pieces of food in 2.5 hours and raising a total of $6865.60," Sally said.

This was to split to our two charities of choice being KI Mayoral Fund and the KI Wildlife Park.

A generous final donation meant a split of $3500 to each fund.

"It was a phenomenal day and it was great to see everyone's support to assist the KI community," Sally said.
