Ben Davis lost his house, farm and all his possessions in the Kangaroo Island bushfires.
He was later filmed shearing barefoot during a TV segment for the bushfire cricket match because all his clothes and shoes went up in smoke.
While members of SACA and players for the Statewide Super SA Scorpions were visiting Kingscote Cricket Club for a free clinic on Monday, Alex Ross took the opportunity to reach out to the shoeless Western Districts Cricket Club President.
Mr Davis was presented with pair of new boots and other gear.
Local MP Leon Bignell commended the generosity of the visiting cricketers.
"The fact that they did this is sensational and we thank them for their time, their generosity and the genuine compassion they have for our community," he said in a post on Facebook
"Elite men and women WBBL and BBL cricketers came to the island to cheer everyone up with a clinic for the kids and a cricket talk and quiz for the families."
