Emu Bay Seaside subdivision and Rivergum display home officially launched on Kangaroo Island

The Seaside subdivision at Emu Bay on Kangaroo Island was officially launched at the new Rivergum display home on Friday, February 21.

Mayor Michael Pengilly cut the ribbon to the home, along with developer Caj Amadio and the Rivergum Group managing director Victor Said.

The official opening was originally scheduled for Saturday, January 4, the day after the Ravine bushfire devastated the western end of the Island, and so had to be postponed to last week.

Overseeing the launch on Friday was Kangaroo Island Century 21 principal Michael Barrett.

Mr Amadio spoke about the history of getting the subdivision approved and also about the need to progress the Island with developments such as his subdivision and also the proposed golf course near Pennington Bay.

The new display home built by Rivergum was now the focal point for the subdivision and was also available for purchase through Century 21.

Stage 1 of the subdivision featured 20 1500 square metre or larger lots available for purchase now. There were a total of 80 lots planned for the subdivision.

The attractiveness of Emu Bay, its proximity to the town of Kingscote, the airport and the stunning beach and fishing grounds, was also spoken about at the official opening.
