

The auction of a donated farm fire fighting tank and pump at the Parndana Show raised $7000 that will go to the Humans of Kangaroo Island fundraising campaign.

Campaign organiser Sabrina Davis is raising funds to equip the Island's farmers with safety gear.
"A very big thank you to everyone who joined in, bid and supported the Humans of Kangaroo Island auction of a 600L farm firefighter kindly donated by SmartBar," Mrs Davis said.
The whopping amount of $7000 was the highest bid from syndicate Brenton Davis of Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action, together with Willem Ouwens of Ouwens Lawyers and Alex Ouwens of Ouwens Casserly Real Estate
The money will be added to the ongoing fundraiser to help equip Kangaroo Island's farm fire units with PPE clothing and safety equipment.
She also gave a big thank you to Simon Kelly and Stu Were for helping with the auction.
