Community Legal Centres SA is offering free legal advice to KI residents through its Bushfire Community Legal Project

Prior to the COVID outbreak, project solicitor Holly McCoy said experts from Varga Lawyers were coming over to deliver a free seminar for the entire community on wills, trusts, power of attorney, advanced care directives and general succession law planning.

The free seminar at Parndana Bowling Club this evening, Thursday, was changed to an online conference with registered participants invited to dial in.

Then tomorrow Friday, Nov. 20 lawyers will provide free one-on-one appointments over the phone or online if people are set up.

Ms McCoy said she and the Bushfire Community Legal Project would continue to provide free, general legal advice to those impacted by the fires. To find out more or register, call 8121 4473.
