Islanders support Royal Flying Doctors

The year has started off well for a group of Islanders that fundraise to help keep the Flying Doctors flying.

The Kangaroo Island Royal Flying Doctors' Support Group is planning their ever-popular Easter goodies/produce stall on Easter Thursday on the Century 21 verandah.

Earlier this year, in January, members enjoyed gate keeping duties for the Racing at the Cygnet.

A first for the group was a recent sausage sizzle and stall courtesy of Mitre 10 with help from two members of the Men's Shed.

Another sausage sizzle and stall is planned for May. Also in May, a Badge Day will take place at Kingscote, Parndana and Penneshaw.

The group appreciates the help by the KI businesses allowing us space to present our fundraising activities.
