The newest Western KI Lions Club board of directors has been announced.
The appointment of positions happened at the annual changeover function, which was held on Sunday, June 13.
The small gathering was welcomed by outgoing President Lion Clayton Barratt, and District Governor (Elect) Darryl Morely and his wife Barbara, who visited the Island from Kingston to officiate the day.
The new board consists of Lion Marilyn Cane (Lyn) as incoming president, Lion Ron Hams as secretary, and Lion Kevin Pratt as treasurer.
The club thanked the ladies from Parndana Bowls Club who catered for the luncheon and those who travelled from the mainland to join them.
Special thanks went to the club's valued sponsors Mike and Sandra Smith (KI Freight), Suzie (Ladybug Pest Control) who were in attendance, and long-standing sponsors Fryar's Eggs, Turner Fuel, KI Skip Bins, KI Test and Tag, Maxima Painting Services, Parndana Café and Bakery, and Kangaroo Island Sealink.
Countless volunteers were also thanked for their assistance with day-to-day operations that would not be possible without their support.
