Kingscote hosted Parndana at the Kingscote Soldiers Memorial Park in the latest round of Kangaroo Island cricket.
Kingscote won the toss, however with drizzling periods of rain in the morning wasn't sure what the weather conditions would be like and decided to have a bat.
The Kingscote openers were intent on not giving their wickets away and with Parndana bowling well, runs were hard to score.
Kingscote lost their first wicket in the 15th over, with the score on 15.
Shak Fernando came in and looked to up the scoring rate, however Parndana's bowlers kept their line and length not giving away any easy runs.
At drinks after 23 overs Kingscote were 3/29.
With wickets in hand Kingscote would have been looking to up the scoring, however wickets kept falling and were looking in trouble at 7/37 after 28 overs.
Kamal Chopra and Raymond Walker batting well to put on a 20-run partnership for the eighth wicket. Kingscote finally being all bowled out in the 43rd over, with the score being 10/70.

Parndana bowled 11 maidens in the innings with the wicket takers being Tom Wurst 4/17, Tom Klingberg 3/10, Matt Johnson 3/23, Brodie Havelberg also taking three catches with the gloves.
Parndana were required to bat for half an hour before the tea break and were looking to play their shots early, with Jesse Gaskin and Zach Trethewey getting Parndana off to a good start.
Xavier Wadsworth took the first two wickets and found himself being on a hat-trick, however was unsuccessful with his hat-trick ball.
At the tea break Parndana were 2/35 after seven overs and looking in control.
After the tea break Parndana kept control of the match through Brodie Havelberg.
Parndana lost another three wickets before passing Kingscote's score in the 16th over. Parndana finished with a score of 5/76.
